Multiple People Injured In Head-On Collision
Victorville, CA (August 4, 2024) — Several individuals were injured in a head-on collision on Highway 395 late Sunday afternoon, August 4. The accident occurred around 5:50 p.m. just south of Joshua Dell Road.
The Victorville Police Department reported that a black Dodge Charger and a silver Toyota Camry collided head-on for reasons that remain unclear. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and discovered several injured victims.
Five Ambulances Were Needed For This Horrific Crash
Firefighters requested five ground ambulances to transport the injured to a nearby hospital. The conditions of the patients were not immediately known. The crash caused significant front-end damage to both vehicles.
To manage the incident and clear the wreckage, crews closed the highway in both directions from Joshua Dell Road to Eucalyptus Street for about an hour. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
