Pedestrian Struck Twice In Horrific Hit-and-Run On Magnolia Ave.
RIVERSIDE, CA (March 4, 2025) – A fatal hit-and-run involving two vehicles took place Tuesday night on Magnolia Avenue near Lincoln Street, leaving a pedestrian dead and authorities searching for the driver who fled the scene.
The collision occurred around 8:42 p.m. on March 4, 2025, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Officials reported that the unidentified pedestrian was struck by a white vehicle, whose driver fled, before being hit again by a second motorist. It remains unclear whether the second driver remained at the scene, as a 911 caller reporting the incident was “panicking and unable to confirm,” CHP stated.
Sheriffs Arrived Too Late To Help The Pedestrian Who Died At The Scene
Emergency responders from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office and the Riverside Coroner’s Division arrived at the scene, but the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries.
Authorities shut down Magnolia Avenue between Lincoln and Buchanan streets to investigate the fatal hit-and-run. Police continue searching for the suspect and urge anyone with information to come forward.
