Three-Vehicle Crash Near White Lane on Highway 99 Leaves Minor Injuries
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 30, 2025) — A three-vehicle collision caused traffic delays on southbound Highway 99 near the White Lane off-ramp Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 8:10 a.m. and involved a white BMW SUV, a black sedan, and a gray Ford Fusion. CHP officials initially classified the incident as a major-injury crash, but it was later downgraded to minor injuries.
One Female Driver Was Trapped Inside Her Vehicle
Authorities said the female driver of the black sedan was briefly trapped inside her vehicle, but she was later freed and her injuries were reported to be minor.
Emergency crews, including fire and medical personnel, responded quickly to the scene. A tow truck from Fleet Services removed the BMW, which sustained moderate rear-end damage.
All vehicles were cleared from the roadway by mid-morning, and traffic flow returned to normal.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Both CHP and the Kern County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident.
