Two-vehicle Crash in Los Angeles’ Koreatown Causes Power Interruption When Pole is Struck
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 18, 2018) – Two vehicles collided in Los Angeles’ Koreatown on Monday afternoon, striking a utility pole and interrupting power. The December 17 accident occurred close to where Bimini Place and First Street intersect, according to Tony Im. Im is an officer with the Los Angeles Police.
The time was roughly 3:50 p.m.
According to reports, respondents transported one injured person to the hospital. According to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, the crash damaged a utility pole, and a conductor was knocked down. Reports say that the top section of a pole had broken off. A vehicle—described as an SUV—was located close by, with front-end damage. It is not known if the SUV hit the utility pole.
