Multi-Car Crash Leaves Woman Hospitalized In Hesperia
Hesperia, CA (August 12, 2024) – A woman sustained critical injuries in a multi-car accident at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Mauna Loa Street on Monday morning, according to San Bernardino County Firefighters. The crash occurred around 7:00 a.m. on August 12 and involved a green GMC Yukon, a silver Toyota Camry, and a white Chevy Tahoe.
Firefighters arrived at the scene to find one person trapped in the wreckage, requiring extrication. The woman driving the Camry was critically injured and was airlifted to a trauma center outside the area. She later underwent surgery for a broken hip and wrist.
Police Are Still Investigating The Accident
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the accident. The Hesperia Police Department is asking anyone with information to come forward.
