Los Angeles, CA (June 14th, 2023) – A devastating accident occurred on Pico Boulevard near La Cienega Boulevard, resulting in the death of a pedestrian and severe injuries to two others after a car veered onto a sidewalk and collided with a bank.

The incident took place at approximately 5:30 p.m. on June 7, according to reports. A black Hyundai sedan, for reasons yet to be determined, lost control, causing it to mount the curb and careen onto the sidewalk. The vehicle struck three victims before crashing into the nearby Chase Bank building.
The pedestrians involved in the tragic collision were identified as a family. They suffered serious injuries, with a 48-year-old woman sustaining critical injuries. A 19-year-old male was transported to a hospital and reported to be in fair condition. Unfortunately, the 51-year-old man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
