Boy on Bicycle Struck and Injured by Vehicle on Topaz Avenue in Ventura
VENTURA, CA (February 14, 2020) – On Thursday, a boy riding a bicycle was struck and injured by a vehicle in Ventura. The February 13 incident occurred on Topaz Avenue in the 1800 block, according to Ventura Police.
Reports say the boy had been riding a bicycle in a condominium complex on a private road when a vehicle hit him. According to reports, the driver did not see the boy.
The driver stayed with the boy at the incident site. Responders arrived and transported the boy to a hospital in the area. The types of injuries he suffered were described as serious.
His current condition is not known. He was identified as 11 years old.
The person driving the vehicle has not been identified in reports, including name, age, gender, and city of residence.
