NEWHALL, CA (August 5, 2018) – Three vehicles collided on Highway 14 in Newhall on Tuesday morning. The July 31 crash occurred around 8:15 a.m. close to Placerita Canyon Road in the southbound lanes, a report from California Highway Patrol says.
The vehicles that collided were described as a silver Honda Odyssey, a black Honda CRV, and a green Ford Escape.
Responders found two vehicles on the highway’s right shoulder. One vehicle was in the carpool lane, blocking it.
Reports say that a person who had been in the Ford suffered injuries to the eyes and back. Victims were provided medical attention by emergency responders on scene.
The identities of the people involved in the crash, and any other injuries and damages to vehicles has not yet been reported.
Investigators are continuing with their exploration of the causes of the crash.
