A teenager that was stunt driving in Colorado was critically injured in an accident. He is in critical condition currently. A passenger was killed during the accident.
Police spokespeople in Aurora have stated to the media that four teenagers under the age of 17 were in the car that crashed after the driver had repeatedly been practicing j-turns. J-turns are stunt that involves trying to turn the car 180 degrees while using the emergency brake. The stunt is obviously very dangerous.
Apparently, the driver hit an unoccupied mobile home as he focused on the stunt. Basically, the stunt went wrong and the maneuver caused him to collide with the house. Two of the passengers were hurt and are still being treated in the hospital. The other passenger was pronounced dead at the hospital, upon arrival. The two passengers that were injured have non-life threatening conditions.
The police have not released the names of the teenagers. According the officers, the driver could and probably will face criminal charges as a result of the death that occurred due to the erratic driving and eventual accident.
