Multiple Vehicles Collide on Willowbrooke Lane in Stevenson Ranch, Injuring Three People
STEVENSON RANCH, CA (May 24, 2019) – Multiple vehicles collided in the afternoon on Thursday in Stevenson Ranch, injuring three people. The May 23 incident occurred on Willow Brook Lane close to Smoketree Lane, and near Mapletree Court.
The time was roughly 12:35 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Reports say two victims were trapped in the wreckage of one of the vehicles. Respondents from the fire department worked to extricate the victims, who were trapped for roughly an hour and a half, according to reports.
Respondents transported the two people to a hospital. The identities of the people, including their names, ages, gender, and cities of residence, have not been reported. It is not known who had been driving the vehicle, and who was a passenger.
According to Sky Cornell, who is a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department, respondents also transported a third victim to a hospital. The third victim had been inside a different vehicle than the vehicle containing the two trapped victims. The types of injuries the third victim suffered have not been reported. The current condition of the person is not known. The identity of the person has not been reported.
No details have been reported on why the crash happened, and the sequence of events that led to it. None of the vehicles have been described, and none of the drivers identified. Investigators are continuing their exploration into the details.
