Wrong-way Driver in Collision That Killed Two Others and Himself Identified as YouTube Star ‘McSkillet’
SORRENTO VALLEY, CA (August 31, 2018) – A YouTube Star, known as “McSkillet”, was the person identified as the driver in a wrong-way collision in which three people died in San Diego.
According to police, Trevor Heitmann, an 18-year-old, had been driving a vehicle described as a $200,000 McLaren sports car. Reports say that he was driving fast and going the wrong way on the road.
The collision killed a woman, 43 years old, a girl 12 years old, and Heitmann.
Reports from officials said that Heitmann had a YouTube channel, in which he was known as “McSkillet”, that was popular. In it, he talked about video games.
Authorities said that Heitmann had suffered with depression at the time the crash occurred.
No other information was available.
