Rollover Crash in Sherman Oaks on 405 Freeway Kills One Person and Injures Another
SHERMAN OAKS, CA (December 31, 2018) – A rollover crash in Sherman Oaks early Monday morning on the 405 Freeway killed one person and injured another. The December 31 accident occurred in the freeway’s northbound lanes, a bit to the north of Burbank Boulevard. The California Highway Patrol said the accident site was close to the Sepulveda Basin.
The time was roughly 4:35 a.m.
Reports say that the vehicle—which has not yet been described—overturned and landed in a ditch off to the freeway’s side. Margaret Stewart, who is with the Los Angeles Fire Department, said one person died at the accident scene. Respondents took another person to a hospital. The condition of the victim is not known, nor the types of injuries the person suffered.
