Car Crashes Into House in San Luis Obispo
SAN LUIS OPISPO, CA (September 6, 2024) – A car accident near Islay Street and Osos Street in San Luis Obispo left one person injured on Friday afternoon, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department. The incident occurred shortly before 1:00 p.m. on September 6.
Car Crashed Through A Fence and Hit The Corner House
Authorities reported that the vehicle drove over the sidewalk, crashed through a fence, and collided with a house near the intersection of Islay and Osos streets. The collision caused minor exterior damage to the house, but the vehicle did not enter the structure, and no structural damage was reported.
The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment, while a passenger in the car was unharmed.
Police do not suspect that DUI was a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
