Vehicle Crashes into Gas Station on Broad Street in San Luis Obispo
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (December 31, 2019) – On Saturday, a vehicle crashed into a gas station in San Luis Obispo. The December 28 incident occcurred at the Chevron station located on Broad Street at Orcutt Road.
The Time was roughly 4:00 p.m., according to the San Luis Obispo Fire Department.
Reports say a vehicle—described as a Mini Cooper—smashed into the doors in front of the gas station, for reasons that are not known, and traveled inside the building where the convenience store is located, causing damage.
No one was reported to have been hurt in the incident. The identity of the driver, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
The identity of the property owner has also not been identified in reports.
Investigators are continuing their work of collecting details and information to understand why the crash happened.
