Multi-vehicle Crash on State Route 94 Near Federal Boulevard in San Diego Causes Damage

SAN DIEGO, CA (January 31, 2020) – A multi-vehicle crash, in which one of the vehicles overturned, caused damage and blocked State Route 94 in San Diego early Friday morning. The January 31 incident occurred in the westbound lanes close to Federal Boulevard, in the area of Oak Park

The time was roughly 5:00 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Reports say the incident involved multiple vehicles, possibly three, and that one of the vehicles overturned and landed upside down. The vehicles involved have not been described, and it is not known from reports the sequence in which the accident occurred.

Reports also do not say if anyone was hurt in the incident. The driver of each vehicle has not been identified, including name, age, gender, and city of residence.

It is not known if any of the vehicles that collided were carrying passengers.

Investigators are working to collect information and details to understand the factors that contributed to the crash, and the manner in which it happened.
