Car Smashes into San Diego Thai Restaurant on Friars Road, Injuring One
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 18, 2019) – A car smashed into a San Diego Thai restaurant in the afternoon on Monday, injuring one person. The December 16 incident occurred on Friars Road in the 10400 block, in the area of Grantville, at the Ra-Ka-De-Ka restaurant.
The time was roughly 12:30 p.m., San Diego Fire-Rescue said.
Reports say a car smashed into the restaurant, but it is not clear where the vehicle had been traveling prior to hitting the building. The car has not been described.
Responders arrived and transported one person to Sharp Memorial Hospital. The types of injuries the victim suffered, and current condition, have not been reported.
