Recent San Diego Car Accidents
Fatal Car Crash on State Route 76
According to one local news report, “Two women were killed and a man suffered serious injuries in a four-vehicle crash on state Route 76 in Vista.”
The accident happened in late January, and involved a man driving a 2014 Chevy Silverado. He swerved to avoid hitting a 2018 Hyundai Sonata, which had stopped for traffic at the intersection.
The truck rammed into the Hyundai, which in turn throttled the car into the back of the Mazda SUV in front of it. The SUV then hit a 2016 Ford Fusion.
Two women were pronounced dead at the scene, while a man was taken away for medical care.
Motorcyclist Dead on Balboa Avenue
Another recent report chronicles the solo crash of a motorcyclist on Balboa Avenue—a crash that left him dead.
“A 29-year-old man was riding a 2015 Suzuki motorcycle westbound on Balboa Avenue at a high speed when he struck a curb and a guardrail, then slid to a stop in the left lane of Balboa Avenue,” the report says.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Deadly Pileup on I-5
One more recent San Diego accident report involves a man killed on I-5, following a pileup of cars at the center divider.
“A 48-year-old man died when he was hit by a car after spinning out and crashing his own vehicle early Sunday morning on Interstate 5 in Bay Park,” the article states.
The man was declared dead at the scene.

If you are ever involved in an accident, we’d advise you to keep the following tips in mind. These guidelines will help you preserve your safety and also lay the foundation for a strong insurance claim or legal case.
- First and foremost, get somewhere safe. If at all possible, move your car to the side or shoulder of the road.
- If anyone is injured and needs an ambulance, call 911 right away.

- Give the police your truthful account of the accident, but avoid apologizing or admitting to fault.
- Collect the names, contact information, and insurance information of the other drivers involved; share your information with them.
