Vehicle Hits and Injures Caltrans Worker in Pomona on 10 Freeway

POMONA, CA (November 16, 2020) – Early in the morning on Sunday, a vehicle struck a Caltrans worker on the 10 Freeway in Pomona. The November 15 incident occurred on the westbound side of the freeway, close to Kellogg Drive.

The time was roughly 12:40 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A vehicle–described as a Ford Mustang–struck the person working. The vehicle came to a stop facing the wrong way on the road, with a smashed-in windshield.

Responders arrived and transported the victim to a hospital. The types of injuries the Caltrans worker suffered, and current condition, are not known.

The identity of the person who was struck, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.

It is not clear from reports what injuries the driver may have suffered. The person’s identity has not been reported.
