Three-vehicle Collision on Highway 101 in Pismo Beach Causes Injuries

PISMO BEACH, CA (October 25, 2019) – On Thursday morning, three vehicles collided on Highway 101 in Pismo Beach, causing injuries. The October 24 incident occurred on the northbound side of the highway, close to where the offramp for Wadsworth is located.

The time was roughly 9:17 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

Reports say three vehicles collided, but the circumstances in which the collision occurred, and the line of travel each vehicle had been pursuing prior to colliding, has not been reported. The vehicles involved have not been described.

Two people suffered injuries in the incident, according to CAL FIRE SLO. Responders had to work to extricate one of the victims from a wrecked vehicle.

The types of injuries the victims suffered, and their current condition, has not been reported. The identities of the injured people, including their names, ages, gender, and cities of residence, have not been reported.

It is not known from reports who the driver of each vehicle was, nor who may have been traveling as a passenger in any of the vehicles that collided.
