Thomas Llamas Fatally Injured in Motorcycle Crash in Perris
PERRIS, CA (December 4, 2018) – Thomas Llamas was fatally injured in a motorcycle crash in Perris on Wednesday night. The November 28 accident occurred where Wilson Avenue and Rider Street intersect.
The time was roughly 10:45 p.m.
Officials from the Riverside County sheriff’s office said that Llamas had been traveling east on his motorcycle on Rider Street. A person who had been driving a sedan heading west made a turn to the left onto Wilson Avenue, and the car and the motorcycle collided.
Llamas’ motorcycle collided with the car’s passenger side. Respondents arrived on scene and transported him to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley. Llamas, who was a 22-year-old resident of San Jacinto—died on Thursday.
Reports say that the person who was driving the car was not hurt in the accident. That person’s name has not yet been reported.
According to investigators, drugs or alcohol do not appear to have played a role in the crash. Reports say that it had been raining when the accident occurred.
