Two Vehicles Collide and One Erupts in Flames on Highway 46 in Paso Robles

PASO ROBLES, CA (March 17, 2020) – On Sunday, two vehicles collided on Highway 46 in Paso Robles, with one of the vehicles erupting in flames. The March 15 incident occurred on the westbound side of the highway, near Theater Drive.

Reports say two vehicles collided, but the manner in which the collision occurred has not been reported. Neither of the vehicles has been described.

Responders from CalFire SLO and Paso Robles Fire arrived at the incident site and found one of the vehicles was on fire.

None of the people involved in the incident have been identified, including names, ages, gender, and cities of residence. It is not known who each driver had been, and if there were passengers in the vehicles when the crash occurred.

Reports do not say if anyone was hurt; it is not known if responders transported anyone to a hospital.

Investigators are working to understand the circumstances that contributed to the crash, and the sequence of events that occurred. At this time, no other details have been reported.
