Suspect Sought in Hit-and-run Crash that Killed Man in Oildale
OILDALE, CA (November 14, 2019) – Authorities are seeking the suspect driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed Glen Lee Summers in Oildale. The October 26 incident fatally injured Summers. He died on November 3, according to the Kern County coroner’s office. He was 63 years old.
Reports say Summers had been walking on Roberts Lane, and in an area close to Higgins Drive, a vehicle hit him.
According to the California Highway Patrol, surveillance video was recorded by a camera at Empire gas station, which is at Sequoia Drive and Roberts Lane. The video shows what authorities suspect is the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run crash.

Investigators are searching for the vehicle involved in the crash, and the suspected driver. If anyone has information about the crash, the person should call the Bakersfield Police Department. The number is 661-327-7111.
