The incident began at roughly 5:35 a.m. in Huntington Beach, when officers pursued the vehicle–described as a Honda Accord, black in color–near Ellis Avenue and Goldenwest Street. Officers suspected the Honda was a vehicle that was reported stolen in the Modesto area.
