Bus Driver Injured in Mountain View Crash Involving Three Vehicles
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (October 30, 2018) – Three vehicles, one of which was a bus, collided in Mountain View on Monday, injuring the bus driver. The October 29 accident occurred on South 43rd Street in the 1400 block, close to the on-ramp for Interstate 805, Brent Williams said. Williams is a lieutenant with the San Diego Police.
The time was roughly 6:00 a.m.
According to reports, three vehicles—including a Honda Accord, another vehicle, and a Metropolitan Transit System bus—collided.
Responders took the bus driver to UCSD Medical Center. The types of injuries suffered by the bus driver have not yet been reported.
Reports say that passengers were traveling on the bus at the time of the collision, but it is not known if any of them were injured. It has also not been reported if any people traveling in the other vehicles involved in the collision were injured.
Investigators from the San Diego Police are looking into the details and information to determine what caused the crash.
