Mission Hills Crash on I-5 Freeway Causes Injuries

Mission Hills, CA (October 26, 2020) – Two vehicles collided on Friday night in Mission Hills, causing injuries. The October 23 incident occurred on I-5 on the northbound side of the freeway, near the 118 Freeway and to the south of it.

The time was roughly a little before 10:00 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The manner in which the two vehicles collided has not been reported, and the vehicles have not been described.

Firefighters arrived on scene and worked extensively to free one of the victims from the wreckage of a vehicle. Responders transported the person to a hospital.

The victim’s condition was described as critical. The types of injuries the person suffered have not been described. The identity of the person has not been reported.

Responders also transported two other patients to a hospital. The injuries the two people suffered were described only as not life threatening. Their current condition is not known.

Two other people involved in the crash did not want to go to the hospital. It is not known if they were hurt in the collision.

None of the people involved in the crash have been identified, including their names, ages, gender, and cities of residence. The driver of each vehicle has not been identified.

Investigators are working to understand why the crash happened.
