Another famous Hollywood starlet has been involved in a vehicle fender bender. Former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes is being accused of a hit-and-run car accident that happened on Monday, August 6. This accusation follows a string of car-related incidents, including a DUI charge, which the 26-year old actress has been involved in.

On Monday, Bynes was reportedly driving her black BMW when she accidentally hit a Toyota Corolla in Los Angeles. The driver, who only wants to be identified as Kisa, claims that she and Bynes had a brief conversation where Bynes refused to give insurance information and then drove off. Because there had been no obvious damage to either cars, the Hollywood actress did not want to exchange details with the Toyota driver. Kisa has filed a complaint with the police about the accident.

During their conversation, Kisa said that the Bynes looked nervous when the topic of exchanging information came up. That was when the actress tried to convince Kisa that her Toyota was not damaged and even tried pushing the woman’s rear bumper back into the car. Her own BMW had some significant damage but Bynes still tried to persuade the woman that an exchange of information was unnecessary. When no information seemed to come from Bynes, Kisa called the police who then took a hit-and-run report. Bynes hopped into her car and drove away before the cops could arrive.

If Kisa’s claim and accusation is true, it would make sense why the Hairspray actress did not want to exchange information and insurance details. Bynes had been arrested in April for driving under the influence. At 3 a.m. on an early April morning, Bynes struck a police car. She had pleaded not guilty on the incident, even tweeting to President Obama for an appeal. In the following months, Bynes also had an alleged hit-and-run accident that occurred in May. The young actress can’t seem to catch a break.

After every allegation fired at her, Bynes has claimed that it was all gossip that was triggered by her fame. In one tweet, Bynes wrote: “I can’t help but laugh at all of you writing fake stories about me. I was not in any hit and runs. I don’t drink so the DUI is false.”

Currently, all the tweets from Amanda Bynes’ Twitter have been deleted. This odd state of the actress’ Twitter brings about questions of why she felt it necessary to destroy and remove any messages she has put out. However, it does make sense why Bynes would like to lie low from social media for awhile.

Getting into a car accident also brings out many hassles of filing insurance reports, getting into contact with other parties involved, and getting a police report. The personal injury that results from a car collision can also be tremendous. If you have ever been involved in a car accident, don’t hesitate to contact an Los Angeles personal injury attorney today.
