Two-vehicle Collision Kills One Person, Injures Another in Menifee
MENIFEE, CA (May 28, 2019) – A two-vehicle collision in the morning on Saturday killed one person and injured another in Menifee. The May 25 incident occurred in the vicinity of Menifee Road and Newport Road.
Reports say the impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to overturn and land upside down. According to reports, the vehicle on its roof was maroon, but the make and model have not been described. The other vehicle was described as a convertible. After colliding, the two vehicles traveled over a sidewalk and ended up in plantings along the road.
According to Cal Fire Riverside, one of the victims died at the accident site. Another victim suffered injuries that were described as serious. The victims have not been identified, including their names, ages, gender, and cities of residence. It is not known if either of the reported victims was a driver or a passenger. Reports do not say if anyone else had been traveling in either vehicle at the time of the crash. The current condition of the injured victim is not known.
