Man Identified as Driver Who Died in Wrong-way Crash in Long Beach
LONG BEACH, CA (February 6, 2020) – Carlos Robles was identified as the driver who died in a wrong-way crash in Long Beach on Monday. The February 3 incident occurred in the area of Ocean Boulevard and Harbor Scenic Drive.
The time was roughly 9:00 p.m., according to Long Beach Police.
Reports say Robles lost control of the vehicle he was driving while going at a fast speed and traveling the wrong way. The vehicle—described as a Honda Civic—hit a curb and struck a pole and a number of trees.
Robles died in the crash. He was 29 years old, and a resident of Carson.
