Three-vehicle Collision on SR 125 in Lemon Grove Causes Truck to Overturn
LEMON GROVE, CA (April 5, 2019) – Three vehicles collided in the morning on Thursday on State Route 125 in Lemon Grove, causing a truck to overturn. The April 4 accident occurred in the northbound lanes of the freeway, close to State Route 94.
The time was roughly 10:30 a.m.
Reports say one of the vehicles—described as a flatbed truck—overturned and landed on its side. Two other vehicles—described as an Infiniti G35 sedan and a big rig—were involved in the collision.
The identities of the drivers of each vehicle have not been reported, including their names, ages, gender, and cities of residence. It is not known if anyone else had been traveling in any of the vehicles at the time of the crash. It is not clear from reports if anyone had been hurt in the accident.
According to reports, materials that the flatbed truck had been carrying leaked onto the road, but they were determined to be not hazardous. The collision caused traffic congestion until the area was cleared.
