Motorcycle and Car Collide on Ortega Highway Near Lake Elsinore, Killing Rider
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (April 9, 2019) – A motorcycle and a car collided Sunday afternoon on the Ortega Highway near Lake Elsinore, killing the rider. The April 7 accident occurred in the Upper San Juan Campground, close to Grand Avenue and roughly two miles to the south of it.
The time was a bit after 3:00 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol and Cal Fire Riverside.
Reports say the motorcycle and car collided, and the motorcycle ended up approximately 200 feet away from the road’s side. The type of car involved in the accident has not been described.
