Multiple Vehicles Burn in Fire at Inglewood Body Shop
INGLEWOOD, CA (February 12, 2019) – A fire that erupted early in the morning on Tuesday at a body shop in Inglewood burned multiple vehicles. The February 12 incident occurred at the business which is close to where North La Brea Avenue and West Florence Avenue intersect.
The time was roughly 4:45 a.m.
Reports say that at least four vehicles, which were inside a parking lot in the back, were engulfed by the fire. The parking lot was described as gated.
The types of vehicles that burned have not been described. It has not been reported if anyone was injured in the incident. It is not known if any part of the building burned.
It is not known from reports if the fire started explosively, impacting the first three vehicles quickly. Reports say that when firefighters arrived, the first three vehicles were already engulfed in flame, and by the time they gained access to enter inside the gated parking lot, the fourth vehicle had caught on fire.
Investigators are looking into the evidence to find out why the fire started.
