Bakersfield Hit-and-run Driver Kills Pedestrian on Golden State Highway
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 4, 2021) – Early in the morning on Thursday in Bakersfield, a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a pedestrian. The June 3 incident occurred on Golden State Highway, close to where F Street is located.
The time was roughly 6:12 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
No details have been reported on where the person had been walking when the vehicle struck. Responders arrived to help, but the pedestrian was killed in the crash.
The identity of the victim, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
