Truck Smashes into Home on Carmel Court in Grover Beach
GROVER BEACH, CA (September 27, 2019) – On Thursday morning, a pickup truck smashed into a home in Grover Beach, causing damage. The September 26 incident occurred on Carmel Court in the 1900 block, Grover Beach Police said.
Reports say the vehicle went off the road on The Pike in the 1900 block, for reasons that are not known. The pickup truck then smashed into the home on Carmel Court, causing signficant damage, reports say.
The person who had been driving the pickup truck has not been identified, including name, age, gender, and city of residence. It is not known if anyone else had been in the vehicle when the crash occurred.
The owners of the home have not been identified. According to reports, no one was hurt in the incident.
Reports do not say if the home’s structural safety was compromised. It has only been reported that major damage occurred.
Investigators are working to gather information and details to understand what led to the crash. At this time, no other details are known.
