Teenaged Pedestrians Struck Near Mentone Avenue and 13th Street in Grover Beach

GROVER BEACH, CA (December 19, 2019) – Two teenaged pedestrians were struck and injured in Grover Beach in the evening on Wednesday. The December 18 incident occurred in the vicinity of Mentone Avenue and 13th Street.

The time was roughly a little after 7:00 p.m., Grover Beach Police said.

Reports say two teenagers were struck, but it is not clear exactly where the victims were walking when the incident occurred. The vehicle involved in the incident has not been described, and its line of travel prior to the crash was also not described.

Responders arrived and took the victims to a hospital for treatment. The injuries the victims suffered were described as minor to moderate.
