FULLERTON, CA (July 3, 2018) – Raymond Olivares was killed on Monday, June 25, in a head-on crash on Harbor Boulevard. His identity as the victim of this accident was recently released. Mr. Olivares was from Ontario.
The accident happened at roughly 3:17 p.m.
Just before the accident, Olivares had been heading north on Harbor Boulevard in a 1996 GMC Jimmy. Authorities say they do not know why he veered in the lane heading south and struck a Toyota Tacoma head on.
According to a report, the driver of the Tacoma had major injuries due to the crash. Responders took the driver of the Tacoma to the hospital. At this time, the name of the driver of the Tacoma has not been released.
Authorities pronounced Olivares dead at the accident site. Investigators do not yet know if alcohol was a cause of the crash.
The investigation is continuing to determine what caused this crash.
