Driver Suspected of DUI Crashes into Fullerton Apartment Building
FULLERTON, CA (March 18, 2019) – A person who is suspected of driving under the influence crashed early in the morning on Sunday into an apartment building in Fullerton. The March 17 accident occurred on Hill Avenue in the 300 block.
The time was a little after 3:00 a.m., the Fullerton Police said.
Reports say that the driver—identified as a woman—had been driving a sedan, black in color. The vehicle crashed into a stairwell located at the apartment building. The driver had been the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the crash, and reports say that no one was injured in the incident. Police arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).
The identity of the driver, including her name, age, and city of residence has not been reported. It is not known from reports the extent of damage to the building, or to the driver’s vehicle.
Investigators are examining the details of the crash to understand the circumstances leading up to it.
