Fullerton Collision on Orangethorpe Ave Kills Bicyclist

FULLERTON, CA (April 22, 2020) – In the afternoon on Tuesday in Fullerton, a bicyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle. The April 20 incident occurred on Orangethorpe Avenue in the 1900 block.

The time was a little before 3:00 p.m., Fullerton Police said.

Reports say a vehicle and a bicycle collided, but no details have been reported on how the incident occurred, nor what line of travel each had been taking prior to crashing.

The person who had been riding the bicycle died in the crash. The identity of the victim, including the person’s name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported. The Orange County Coroner’s Office is working to contact the family of the victim before the information is reported publicly.

The person who had been driving the vehicle has also not been identified. The vehicle involved has not been described.
