An elderly couple won the Internet last week when an octogenarian posed for a pictures after his wife tipped over their Honda Fit.
The accident happened when the Honda Fit rolled onto its driver’s door in Bel Air along Linda Flora Drive late Friday afternoon. The elderly woman, who was driving the car, was trapped. Her husband was able to climb out of the passenger’s side door.
The two, who had been married for over 60 years, were both uninjured. The elderly gentleman posed in a blue shirt and khaki pants high over his stomach, holding his wife’s purse. They waited patiently for the Los Angeles Fire Department to arrive.
While sitting in the car, the woman asked her husband to hand her back her cell phone. She decided to take a selfiie while she sat there waiting. Soon, the fire department arrived and extricated the woman from the car. They were both in good spirits.
The names of the two have not been released and it is still unclear how the Honda tipped in the first place.
