East Los Angeles Crash on 60 Freeway Near Indiana Street Causes Injuries

EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (November 24, 2020) – Early in the morning on Tuesday in East Los Angeles, a crash on the 60 Freeway caused injuries. The November 24 incident occurred in the freeway’s eastbound lanes, close to where Indiana Street is located.

The time was roughly 5:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

Responders found a vehicle–which has not been described–at the divider in the center of the freeway. No details are known regarding how the crash happened, nor if any other vehicle collided with the vehicle responders found.

Responders worked to extricate a victim from the wrecked vehicle. They took the person for treatment.

The types of injuries the person suffered, and the current condition, are not known. The person’s identity has not been reported. It is also not known if anyone else had been traveling in the vehicle.

Investigators are attempting to gather information that will enable them understand the crash and its circumstances. They are working on the details.
