Emmanuel Morales Dies in Two-vehicle Collision in Corona

CORONA, CA (January 30, 2019) – Emmanuel Morales was killed in a collision involving two vehicles in Corona in the afternoon on Saturday. The January 26 accident occurred where Via Del Rio and Border Avenue intersect. Via Del Rio is called Via Pacifica on the opposite side of the intersection with Border.

The time was roughly 1:00 p.m.

Reports say that two vehicles collided. The types of vehicles that were involved in the crash have not been described. Morales was killed at the accident scene, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s office. It is not clear from reports if Morales—identified as a 58-year-old resident of Corona—had been a driver of one of the vehicles.

The driver of the second vehicle has not been identified, including the person’s name, age, gender, and city of residence. It is not known from reports if anyone else had been traveling in either vehicle as a passenger. No one else was reported to have suffered injuries.

Investigators from Corona Police are looking into the details and information regarding the crash. The circumstances leading to the collision, and what caused it, are not known.
