Woman Killed by Hit-and-run Driver in Corona
CORONA, CA (February 7, 2020) – On Wednesday night, a hit-and-run driver struck a motorcycle that Brenda Richardson was riding, causing her fatal injuries. The February 6 incident occurred on River Road close to Kalus Avenue.
The time was roughly 7:40 p.m., Corona Police said.
Reports say Richardson had been heading west on River Road and a vehicle—described as a sedan, white or cream-colored—that had been traveling in the opposite direction, made a turn in front of her.
The vehicle and the motorcycle collided, and the impact threw Richardson from the bike.
The driver did not stop to help her, but fled the incident site.
Responders arrived and transported Richardson to the hospital. She died in the hospital. Richardson was 48 years old, and a resident of Eastvale.
Investigators are looking for the vehicle involved in the incident, and the driver. The driver has not been described.
