BUENA PARK, CA (April 4, 2019) – A collision on Beach Boulevard in Buena Park in the morning on Thursday killed a motorcyclist and injured a passenger in a vehicle. The April 4 accident occurred near La Palma Avenue, and to the north of it.
The time was roughly 12:36 a.m., Greg Pelton said. Pelton is a sergeant with the Buena Park Police Department.
Reports say that a vehicle had been turning left into a parking lot, and the motorcycle struck it. According to Pelton, the speed the motorcycle was traveling may have been a factor in the collision. According to reports, a witness—identified as R.J. Holder—said the motorcycle had gunned it, and that the motorcycle was moving fast. According to Holder, when the motorcycle struck the vehicle, it exploded.
