Bieber Is A Speeder

Although teen superstar Justin Bieber is talented, he is not above traffic laws. Bieber needs to be reminded that driving is a right and not a privilege. Maybe his license should be taken away, so he’ll learn his lesson.

Last Friday, Bieber was speeding down the 101 Freeway in a futile attempt to elude the paparazzi who was in hot pursuit.

Even though he was being chased by the paparazzi, Bieber had no excuse for his dangerous driving Friday on the 101 Freeway.

Bieber was stopped by the Highway Patrol and cited Friday for driving in a “reckless manner” on the freeway.

Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine, who witnesses Bieber and called 911 to report the incident, said he saw the paparazzi pursuing Bieber. The councilman said he understands the problems celebrities have with some photographers and sponsored a city law to curb the aggressive behavior. Still, he said, that’s no excuse.

Zine said Bieber admitted to driving 80 mph.

He said he believes the singer and the tabloid photographers should have been arrested for reckless driving.

Bieber was pulled over in a Fisker Karma sports car about 10:45 a.m. by CHP officers on the 101 at Vineland Avenue and Ventura Boulevard.

Thankfully, no one was injured. This incident could have ended badly for Bieber, the paparazzi and any driver in the vicinity.

Back in 1997, when Bieber was only three years old, Princess Diana was killed in a tragic car crash because the driver of the vehicle she was a passenger in was driving at a high rate of speed to get away from the paparazzi. The driver and her boyfriend were also killed in the accident.
