64 Year Old Woman Identified in Horrific Pedestrian Crash in Bakersfield, CA
Bakersfield, CA (April 8, 2023) – Authorities have identified Lourdes Cordova Gonzalez, a 64-year-old woman from Bakersfield, who was tragically killed in a pedestrian accident last Thursday on April 6. The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. in the 100 block of L Street, just north of Brundage Lane. According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Gonzalez was walking in the area when a vehicle struck her.

Gonzalez was rushed to Kern Medical, where she was later pronounced dead. The incident is still under investigation, and it is unknown if the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident stayed at the scene.
The police are currently handling the investigation and is urging anyone who witnessed the accident or has any information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
