Woman Identified as Person Killed in Stockdale Highway Crash in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 5, 2020) – Robin Stevenson was identified by the Kern County coroner’s office as the woman who was killed in a crash in Bakersfield late in the afternoon on Friday. The October 30 incident occurred on Stockdale Highway close the Montclair Street intersection.
The time was roughly 5:49 p.m., authorities said.
The vehicle that Stevenson had been driving, and another vehicle–neither of which have been described–collided. No details have been reported on the circumstances related to the crash.
Responders arrived and transported Stevenson to Kern Medical. She died in the hospital. Stevenson was 58 years old.
The person who had been driving the other vehicle involved in the crash has not been identified in reports, including name, age, gender, and city of residence. Reports do not say if the other driver was injured in the crash.
The investigation is continuing.
