Hit-and-run Driver Injures Pedestrian at El Camino Real Intersection in Arroyo Grande
ARROYO GRANDE, CA (May 8, 2020) – Early in the morning on Wednesday, a hit-and-run driver struck and injured a pedestrian in Arroyo Grande. The May 6 incident occurred where El Camino Real and E. Grand Avenue intersect.
The time was roughly 6:30 a.m., according to Arroyo Grande Police.
Reports say a vehicle–described as a white car, which may have been a Toyota–struck the pedestrian and did not stop to help the victim. The driver fled the incident site.
Responders arrived and found the victim suffered injuries that were described as major. Responders transported the victim to a hospital.
The current condition of the victim is not known. The identity of the person–including name, age, gender, and city of residence–has not been reported.
According to reports, the victim described the suspect driver as a woman, possibly in her mid-twenties to early thirties. She has blonde hair, reports say.
