Apple Valley, CA (July 6, 2018) – Two vehicles collided in Apple Valley on Friday evening. One woman was injured in the crash, which occurred a little before 9:00 p.m.
The accident scene was located where Johnson Road and Dale Evans Parkway intersect.
Involved in the accident were a silver Hyundai and a red Dodge Magnum, California Highway Patrol says. The reasons for the crash are not yet known.
One person who was traveling in the Dodge as a passenger was injured in the accident, the report says. The victim was described as an elderly woman.
The report also says that damage to the side of one of the vehicles occurred, but it does not indicate which vehicle.
No other details were available.
Investigators are examining the details and information to determine what caused the two vehicles to collide.
