5 Injured After Pursuit Ends In 2-Car CrashFive people were injured early Saturday morning after a police pursuit ended in a fiery, two-car crash. The crash happened in downtown Los Angeles.

A stolen vehicle, a black BMW 3-series sedan, struck another vehicle that ended the pursuit. The accident occurred at the intersection of S. Flower St. and W. Adams Blvd. about 1:25 a.m., according to Los Angeles police Sgt. A. Mendoza.

The impact from the collision caused the second car to flip. The second car then caught fire. Three occupants inside the second vehicle were taken to an area hospital. There conditions were unknown.

The two occupants in the black BMW 3-series were also taken to the hospital in unknown conditions.

The incident started around 12:40 a.m., according to authorities. Officers were dispatched to a stolen vehicle pursuit that started near Hoover and 42nd streets.

The identities of those involved have not been released. No charges have been filed yet. The investigation is ongoing.
