Hesperia Pedestrian Struck and Killed On Main Street
HESPERIA, CA (6/24/2025) — Christopher Harrison, 56, a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle early Thursday morning on Main Street in Hesperia, authorities confirmed.
The collision occurred around 2:52 a.m. near a 76 gas station, just east of Cataba Road, according to the Victor Valley News Group. Emergency crews from the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the scene and pronounced the Harrison dead at the scene.
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office Later Identified the Victim as Christopher Harrison of Hesperia
According to investigators, Harrison was walking along the roadway when he was hit by a westbound silver 2016 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ Limited. The driver, a woman whose identity has not been released, remained at the scene and cooperated with deputies.
Main Street was temporarily closed near Key Pointe Drive as law enforcement conducted their investigation. A tow truck removed the damaged vehicle, and debris from the crash was scattered across the roadway.
The Hesperia Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident. Witnesses are encouraged to contact the department at (760) 947-1500.
