Vehicle Plunges Off Angeles Forest Highway, Injuring Two
SAN FERNANDO, CA (May 11, 2021) – Two people were injured in the afternoon on Monday when the vehicle they were traveling in plunged off the Angeles Forest Highway. The vehicle went down almost 300 feet and landed on an embankment in the area close to where Mile Marker 23 is located.
The time was roughly 2:40 p.m., according to authorities.
The vehicle–which has not been described–went off the road and plunged, for reasons that are not known. Responders arrived and took two people who had been inside the vehicle to the hospital.
The types of injuries the patients suffered, and their current condition, are not known.
The identities of the two people–including names, ages, genders, and cities of residence–have not been reported.
Investigators are currently collecting information and details about the crash to understand why it happened. At this time, no other details have been reported.
